What it does

When a compatible item is nearby, you may be able to play a sound. When it is farther away, participating devices in the Find My network can help report its approximate location back to the owner.

Turn on Findcard
Keep the tracker close to your iPhone during setup.
Open Find My
Go to Items, choose Add Item, then select Other Supported Item.
Connect and name it
Follow the on-screen prompts and give the item a recognizable name.
